Honey is our foundation bitch, our introduction to Silken Windhounds, and the reason Silkens will always be a part of our life. From day 1 there was an instant bond that has been unwavering. Honey is a joyous, loving dog that has continued to exceed all our wildest dreams. She was our first ISWS Dual Champion.
She is a flawless show dog, a consistent runner, and lives for cuddles. She continues to be active and at 14 years old she successfully competed in LGRA Nationals, proudly earning the Turtle award, and won Best in Specialty Show at the East Coast Silken Windhound Specialty.
In 2023 she won Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Opposite Sex Veteran, and Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes at the ECSW Silken Windhound Specialty. In 2024 she won Best Veteran in Sweepstakes, at our national specialty known as Silkenfest. In 2025 she won Best in Specialty Show, Best Veteran in Specialty Show, and Best Veteran in Sweepstakes at the ECSW Specialty.
